im looking for some inspiration for a spike hawk sheath. having some difficulty getting something to cover both the blade and spike while making access reasonably quick.

FYI its a custom made spike hawk similar in style to CS spike hawk but smaller in size.

thanks!

I make them in two parts that tie around the haft in both directions, they take a little time to get off. I really kinda hate snaps but you could snap the two parts together with a strap depending on the look you want. Most of my stuff is shall we say rustic :D and just doesn't suit shiny snaps.
I think to do it and make it look good the spike cover would have to be chunkier.
Another way of doing it (depending on head shape) is a "drop in sheath". You put the haft in first and the head drops into a sheath. A bit hard to see but look at the square striped hafted hawk in the middle of the 2nd pic.
Regards
Robin
