Good sites to purchase medical supplies?

Allmed. They are all I use for med stuff. Been ordering from em for 5 years now, and never a problem. They also supply our ambulance district, and several others in the area. Great CS.

Other then that, I do most of my shopping at the ER. ;)

/thinks he should just send some baggies to Jake.

BTW, did you forget about me and my FAK? :D

I know you're busy. Not a big deal. Just giving ya some crap.

my experience with the negs of quikclot comes from the doctor i worked with (alongside as part of the Code White team) in the ER, when i was a Guard in the lockdown unit of the ER. The doc had been all over the world with Doctors Without Borders, and vehemently explained to us why quikclot and other similar products piss off the ER/trauma docs so much. Post field clean up is a B****, it results in tissue separation, more bleeding, and the heat (from the OLD style of quiky) can cause tissue damage. I have ZERO experience on the NEW Quiky, so i cannot comment on that. The doc would tell us "Pressure Dressings men! use the goddamn pressure dressings and wound packers (cotton packing)! when i get one of these riflemen in with quiky in their holes, i have to WASTE my time cleaning it out when i could be extracting lead and closing wounds. Dont use that crap"

ornery ol cuss but he knew his poop :D

Great advice. Ive been preachin the same thing around here for years.

Yea what you said is exactly the feedback I've gotten. The absolute best and most complete pressure bandage on the planet is the IBD Emergency Bandage as it will do a whole multitude of tasks and can be adminstered by oneself with only one hand. It is a highly absorbant bandage with a built in pressure bar and can also be used as a tourney if needed. It is there if you need it but don't have too. All in one package so you don't need ten things. IT comes sealed in two sterile bags so you can use one for one side and one for the other side if you have a sucking chest wound.
