good source for ironwood

I need to resupply a fine gentleman that put some ironwood handles on a couple of my slipjoints. He won't take any money for his efforts so I thought I would restock the materials he used on my knives. Any suggestions on locating some ironwood suitable for handle scales on smaller knives?

Search ebay for Ironwood burl and iron wood scales. A guy who sells there sometimes offers like 3 sets of smaller scales at a time. Prices vary by figure quite a bit. Take a good look at the pictures. Also Alpha knife supply has some and you can view each set, http://www.alphaknifesupply.com/wood-natural.htm. Go to a big knife show and there will be some vendors and a good time. Jim
