I hate looking for 0-1 stuff since you can't search it. I'm looking for a source for some large pieces of precision-ground 0-1. I've got some blades to get laser cut out, so a big ol' plate of it would be nice. :D

a mod complaining about searching huh:)
seriously though, i've dealt with both toolanddie.com and flatground.com and have had good luck with each, so go with whatever is cheaper or who has the best size for your application

Just not enough letters -- the steel should be called "001" :D

Thanks for the link, I had completely forgotten about toolanddie and flatground -- :o :D

Do a search for ENCO, they have starrett 01, at very good prices.

But if I buy from enco, that'll mean I'll have to buy other stuff too. :D

(thanks for the info. :) )

KBC Tools has good prices and precision ground O-1 is currently on sale (page 742 of their online catalog). I have found that everytime I order their sale O-1, which is listed as made in the US or England, it's good old Starrett O-1.

Michael, I have gotten some pretty good deals on large pieces of precision ground O1 on Ebay. Do a search there, and see what comes up.
