Good Spyderco stories—post 'em up

During 2003-2004 in Iraq. I was North of Mosul one night and was talking with a few Peshmerga Soldiers. I had a Spyderco Rescue on me, one of the older ones with the Blue handle. I gave it to one of them. He was so happy. Rescue is STILL one of my favorites. One day I will get the Rescue 3. But the new green ones with plain edge look awesome.

Catfishing on the Red River I was using my Endela SpyderEdge..... Eventually the bite was over and the trip was winding down so I reel in my line put my rod away tossed my knife overboard and put a shad tail in my pocket. Gnashed my teeth and cussed a little then laughed.

I know it's not funny, but dang that got a double-take, and then laugh out of me. Thanks for sharing that story.

I seem to remember almost dropping my dragonfly in the toilet when i first got it a year or so ago, I'm glad that didn't happen. that knife goes with me everywhere, used it hard and its still good as new
