Good steel against ceramic cookware

I manage to cut food all the time and never touch the plate if it’s ceramic. I tip the steak (or chicken, or whatever) up a little and slice off a good chunk. I rest that chunk on the rest of it and slice it up. Repeat til gone. 🤷‍♂️
This is my go to as well.
 
You guys cut your food? I barely bother to cook it.

I'm trying to imagine going to someone's house for a meal and telling them their cutlery sucks. Or someone I've invited to my table proving that my knives were dull. The latter would definitely be more embarrassing.
