Good Survival training?

Hey everyone. Where is a good resource for outdoor survival instruction. I have become interested greatly in the subject and would like to learn all I can. Any advice from you guys would help out a lot. Thank you.

I took Greg Davenports "Simpley Survival" course back in July. He is a great and honest man, with a real strong background. I really enjoyed his class and training.

I have been through Greg Davenport's winter course. Excellent training. Also I have Ron Hood's video series and can't recomend them enough.

It's bad enough that when gullible people come across Fat Mike's website and get inspired to come here and raise hell we have to deal with them -- this guy is obviously no gullible innocent.

paleo25, it's Fat Mike who was the fake -- a phoney investigator who claimed to expose phoney veterans. Actually he picked his victims more or less at random, and made up most of his "facts" as he went along. Fat Mike is dead but his website lingers on.... Don't take my word for it, though, run a web search and you'll find out the truth -- or just read his website; the internal inconsistencies are pretty obvious.

"Pheonix" appears to be a troll we banned a couple of days ago sneaking back under a new name.

I looked at both. Which is true which is not? They both try to make the other out to be a coward and a liar. I guess it doesn't matter. Confusing stuff.

Just so everybody knows what's going on, I didn't ban "Kevo" for his innocuous-appearing post in this thread -- I banned him for spamming trolls all over the forums early this morning. He must have spent half an hour at it, but it only took me a few mouse clicks to clean it all up....
