Manuel, This one is for you. BTW the hunter you posted is one of my favorite hunters out there! I wish it were in my collection.

Thought I'd add a couple Fitchs, a Fogg and a kwaiken by Matt Gregory that fit the size requirements.

Cool, this is becoming a great thread....

Thank you Jon for those pics!
Tim's works has been a big inspiration for my work, I never get tired of looking at those...:)

Kevin -- thanks for the Fiskal stimulus. What a way to wake up!

Doug - great stuff. I really do like that Fogg shiv.

Joe - we'll always bend the rules a bit for that DHIII. That's a good one.

Jon - quite a collection of Hancocks. Way to leave your mark on this thread! (Cheesy John Hancock joke).

Keep it up forumites :)

I bought this one from the Smith himself last summer. I know collectors in general don't like giraffe bone. But just looking at this one I KNEW it had to go home with me. Still took me over half a day to finally purchase it though.

Paul Happy JS test knife. Giraffe Bone, Bronze guard and 5160 Steel.

The Sheath I stitched together.

It hung on my belt almost the whole week during a camping trip last week. The patina is a lot darker now

Not quite as pretty as some of the blades in this thread but it's my favourite fixed blade.

This is a great thread! Here are my favorite under 12" from my collection. I find myself liking this size blade more and more lately.
From top to bottom CAS camp chopper, P Patton camp utility, J.Hoover Trailmate, and 3 river blades Master Chief.

Ken McFall, Damascus with cedar burl handle with elephant ivory and musk ox horn spacers

Love me some of that Lisch snakeskin! You're short changing us with only showing the back side of that sheath :)

Bladeplay, my "shorty" is not something I allow the general public to view!:rolleyes:
