Both good ideas for a hopelessly weird guy like me. What is scary is such alterations are probably coming. In a few years the kids will be finding other ways to become 'individuals'. In the world beyond peircings, looks for dyes, ear notches, sculptures or shapings, and a whole lotta stuff we can't even visualize now. Webbed feet?

Good to be back safe. Doc says my ear will be 'floppy'....Dumbo.

I'm OK and so are the kids. The littlest held back on hugging me today, seeing it fresh in the light, he hesitated. The middle worried I wouldn't make it out. The oldest knew I would. The wife is tired of baby sitting and wants to go back to work.
