  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Good throwing knife?

cold steel true flight are great. you will quickly cut through the cord handles, which is why i think the 3j rendezvous throwers at dixie gun works excel. the leather handles are easily replaced. crudely forged. as stated by others- easily done yourself. personally i think long throwing knives are best. 8" is a small throwing knife to me.

all you need is some rubber hose from the automotive stores for the handles...they don`t add any weight and have some good grip..

check out jack ripper throwing knives online. i picked up my first set of three at a shop near me for 25 bucks i think. They are the smaller ones. They are 440c and have a good HT seems like. They have held up for well over 300 hours of throwing and missing into large trees. In my opinion if you have the time to dedicate to getting good with the small ones, you will be a much better thrower in the end.

Late reply, but I found the cheapest route was going to wal mart and buying a bundle of stout butter knives for about $2.00. You may not think it,but they do stick well enough.

In the past I've been extremely fond of gil hibben knives. The pro 2 thrower is my favorite by far.
In the interest of disclosure however I haven't been throwing the last year or so.
