This is a hawk forged from mild steel with a full length bit of Aldo's 1075. It has a forged blackened finish. Edge hardened and tempered. It has a 3 5/8" wide cutting edge and is 5 1/2" long. As always a lifetime warrenty on head against defects and normal use. If it ever breaks during normal use we'll replace it or make it right
