Good wallet knife?

Regarding wallets--several years ago I realized I was carrying more and more stuff in my pockets, and one thing I did was to go minimal w/ my wallet. I got a small stingray wallet (commonly sold at knife shows around the country). It's roughly 3" by 4". I got rid of all unnecessary junk like business cards from 10 yrs ago etc., and figured out the minimal arrangement of plastic cards that I could carry.

In other words the ol' "everything you need, nothing you don't." Less weight, more space & less need to relocate my wallet when sitting for long periods.

+1 for a Buck Hartsook
Take very little space.
And is razor sharp and will stay that way.

another vote for the Hartsook....it's like 1 to 1.5 mm thin (sorry no calipers)....it's actually a little taller than my wallet, but I can see it working well in a bigger wallet ;)

Again, +1 on the Hartsook--it's a mean little blade.

If the sheath isn't fitting, just take a file and saw off the neck loop part.

thanks for tip ItchyTasty, I used some emergency scissors on the sheath to lop off the bottom part, it worked like a charm

I carry one of these. Same idea as the razorblade in cardboard sheath, but this is safer and easier to resheath. I like to carry them in case I need a knife that's *REALLY REALLY REALLY SHARP*. As you might expect the edge retention is not great, but they aren't exactly expensive.

I have a Microtech Option II that I carried, but never used. Same size as a CC, but of course, thicker. Stone washed blade, plain edge, frame lock, with the lock side being Ti and the other side G10 AFAIK.

Mine is serial numbered with the # on the blade and box matching. Not sure when it was made, but I've had it a number of years.

Perhaps someone can shed more light.

Rob
