I have been looking at the Citizens Skyhawk watch myself. Can someone fill me in on all the features this watch has.

This link has a picture and complete feature list: Citizen Skyhawk

Just ask if you have more detailed questions about anything.

Thanks for the help. My friend has a Skyhawk I think, it has a blue face and 4 yellow arrows. A dedication to the blue Angels I believe. You mentioned a thermocouple, is this built in? My big conern is durability, I work as a FF/Paramedic. Will this watch hold up to the daily gind of the job? Or, should I keep wearing the cheap timex and save this for days off.

It sounds like your friend has the Blue Angels version of the Navihawk, a slightly older model that the Skyhawk replaced. They are very similar designs. The main difference is that the Skyhawk recharges itself from available light (Eco-Drive) while the Navihawk requires battery changes.

I don't think you need to worry about durability with the Skyhawk. The thermocouple is equivalent to a solid-state component. The hands and controls are the only moving parts. Even the electronics are mounted to damp vibration and shock. These watches are designed for active people operating in hostile environments. Wear it on the job with confidence.
