Well, I cut up all that wood yesterday, so I decided to get some blades done today.
I spent seven or eight hours in the shop. Got a good bit done:
I finished off 24 damascus sgian dubh blades (six carbon and 18 stainless)
Forged and ground out three new designs of fishing/hunting knives
Heat treated all 27 of them
Did the final handle grinding on ten embellished and modified DDR3-BL's
Glued up the handles on 10 fillet knives and six sgian dubhs
Found the first knife I ever made (back in 1960). Been looking for it for a while.I am going to clean it up a bit and post photos later.

The blades are all in the temper oven now, so I'll post photos tomorrow.

Well, I guess SOMEBODY had to have a good weekend in the shop....I screwed up some steel this morning trying a fancy san mai, then found a crack in the middle of a damascus billet that was supposed to go into a blade for a friend. Exited the shop before I did any more damage....
