Goodbye folks - I won't be able to make anymore knives

It breaks my heart to read this. I am sending prayers and smoke up for you and your family. I wish I could do more.

Sad to hear this. We all made our first knife, and sadly the day will come when we make our last one. Take care, and see you here on the forums.

I'm sad to read this bitter news.
I always enjoyed seeing your work, like this beautifull knife you've showed here.
I wish you all the best for what is comming. I hope your beautifull memories will give you strenght.

Mr. Calo -

I don't have the words, but Mack summed up my feeling.

You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Take care of yourself Ruben,

You've always done beautiful knives. Keep faith that things can get better.

You have been able to do what few others can... work at a craft you love.
My deepest sympathy for the illness and best wishes
Your work will be shared and go on for generations to come... You will always be here

I'm afraid I have sad news.

Ruben finally lost his battle to cancer this morning.

He leaves behind his wife Aurora, two furkids and lots of friends that will miss him dearly.

His name will outlive him in the knives and other pieces he loved to make.

Being creative is what we are here to do and you did it quite well Ruben.

My condolences to the family, smile when you remember, he was one of the good ones, Fred
