Goodbye

As curious as we may get,
most of us trust Rusty & Bill
to do the right thing.
They have always erred on the side of leniency
if at all.

BTW, YMMV, IIRC, is "your mileage may vary".

At the time I felt it was more important to get the offensive threads documented and locked down in the Back End so they could not be altered.

I should have spent more time learning how to work the moderator's panel. It's like fixin' a leak in the roof. Can't hardly do it when it's rainin' and don't need to do it when the rain stops.

Thanks for the reply, Rusty. Trust has nothing to do with it. Many people trust our president, but we'd surely like to know what going on. I just thought that I was probably not the only one who wanted to know what went on to cause this ban.

Rusty, this is just my opinion, but here goes. If I had been in your position, I don't think it would have taken me as long to do what you did. Much less time than what you did. But then, again, I'm not in your shoes. You are doing a great job. Keep up the good work. Another reason I can call the Cantina home.

You did and are doing a good job Rusty. Many chances were given and the opportunity to change was refused. Feel bad for the guy.:(

of what burafan did wrong just click on search top right hand corner.
then type in burafan and hit perform search then read the burafan posts .YOU WILL GET A PRETTY GOOD IDEA OF WHAT HAPPENED.:o

i must say i to have made mistakes, but made my apologies.
but this poor fella dont know when to quit.
i wish him well though:( he sounds like a pretty confused person.

Whether I belong here either. I don't think I have misjudged a persons character that far in a long time. The only thing in my defense is I think it is harder to read and know than to listen and watch.:)

Without the visual cues it's a lot harder to see what a person is about. I reckon it's even harder to see when there's relatively few posts by the user. Is he nuts or is that just bad grammar?

You belong here more than I do Pappy. You use your khuks for working, not for displaying in a bucket like me. ;) :)

That's funny, Bruise, MY Uncle Ben told me, " Man, wouldn't some rice go good with that?"

WAA-HEE-Hee!

( That killed Vaudville:rolleyes: )

sorry. Couldn't resist!

I'm not sure I really understand you saying I belong here any more than you. I don't think that the fact that I use my khuk for a little work really makes any difference at all. This forum is supposed to be for guys that love Khukuri's no matter what use they are put too. With use I may have a bit better how one of mine will act insituations from another but, I don't think you love yours any less. I am sure that If you were in my situation you surely would have used some of yours quite a lot.

Any way we can't do with out our stand-up comic as Uncle Bill says. I do enjoy some of the more serious posts you make also. Sound like some good common sense. :)

Pappy, if you stop posting we'll send a bunch of folks over to educate you. Like Sarge and Berk and...

You don't want to have that happen do you? It'd probably be real hard to explain us nuts showing up unannounced to your wife!
 :p ;) :D :D

As for him, those that have the most to hide show the most.

Sometimes ya gotta take out the trash. Not ths shortest stint in BF history, but pretty quick.

The dude said his thing, so did we.
Rusty showed true profecionalism as a Bar Keep and cut the dude off.

Let us please stop the "sewing circle" and talk of things that are realy important!

IE: KHUKS!!!!!!
and the HIviruse that has infected all of us!

NOW: who owns a Du-Chirra or a BirGorkha Kothimoda????

I want both, just at the time funds dont permit, but would LOVE any coments about either!

As a funny...when my wife got her Seripata 15" (sp?) she emediatly wanned a BG KOTH, It is ment only for the wall, and my pocket book aint so large, but ... as wifes go.... I know I wont have to sleep with my Khuks "nakid"
;~{)

Uncle Bill: Have bin praying for your Fathers health and your owns as well. You both get better NOW!!!
I have in truth worn out my prayer ring on your father, wife, and your self! And since I wont get to Tebit any time soon...its the last prayer ring I might own.

*some mumblings of prayers for all*
;~{)

Pappy, Bruise means you have a practical use for your khuks. (don't tell him they invented chain saws in WWll.) All of mine are scarred too, even the pretty ones.

We can hack over what is legitimate use or practical or whatever, (it's all legit far as I'm concerned) but I wanted to tell you, whenever something like this happens- Remember Rust,- anyone? I ask myself who the hell I am and what tracks I'm leaving behind. But that's a far cry from the very few real personal offenders who've arrived at this forum.

It is very good to let someone dig their own hole. By the time you've thrown the shovel in after them it's clear who did the work.
We didn't- BF did.

I can't imagine this forum without you, Pappy.

I remembers hims. The peacenik who liked weapons. Now, let's not mention him again, lest he return to bring strife and dispair. :barf:

Yep remember--and forget him..

in the spirit of JJW, post on Dui chirras (my personal fave--unless there's too many tin chirras floatin around and I hafta help out somehwere///)-- I've had 3 different oners, still own two. Traded the 21 inch Chitlangi, still have the Sanu YCS and the older Sanu AK bowie. Sanu does some wonderfully deep fullers (ie. "chirra") which is good, as the YCS is 5/8 inch at the spine and would be a bear without it. As it stands, the 16.5 YCS weighs less than my (deceptively slim looking) 18" AK.

Two cheers for dui chirras!

Keith

Ferrous, reading your last several posts over I get the impression you are not impartial to Sanu's deep fullers.
