Prayers for both of you for a successful surgery and quick recovery.

Bucksway, congrats on quitting smoking. My old LT had a heart attack one morning and when he was in the ambulance the EMT asked him if he smoked. He said, "no I quit." The EMT says, "when?". My LT says, "about 6:00 this morning when I had this heart attack!".

Brother Goose,

You will be in my thoughts and prayers in these days to come. You are our brother from another mother that is "to cool for school". So get well soon as we all miss you around here. Just remember those pacemaker things are so easy to install "a cave man could do it" ;).

I reread the OP. It is not a stint; but, a pacemaker that goose is going to have. My Dad had a few stints put in and that's an easy to do procure these days and is an out patient procedure most of the time.

My Mom had congestive heart failure and that lead up to her having a pacemaker installed. After the pacemaker and a better life style (no smoking, drinking and lots of exercise) she was fit as a fiddle. Good luck Gooser!

Get fixed up and get better, Goose.

People always say you gotta cut your risk factors and quit smoking and eat healthy foods.......but, as far as I know--buying Bucks is not a risk factor.

Here's to a speedy recovery.

Goose -
