Here is a superb example of why the name A DeLeon, stamped in the blade of this Bowie, is synonymous with craftsmanship of a very high order. This knife has an 8-inch blade; its overall length is a shade over 13.5 inches. Stamped on one side of the blade are the initials JB (see photos). The handle is micarta, with red spacers. The loop of the leather sheath has been carefully cut off; the sheath is now suitable for display purposes only. This knife is in mint condition. It has never been used, carried, or sharpened. Despite its large size, this Bowie is so beautifully balanced that even a smaller man with small hands could wield it with effortless precision. Price: $300 including PayPal fee and shipping. No trades. If you're interested, contact me at chesanow@optonline.net.

This knife is made by Enedino DeLeon from Texas. He used to work with Ralph Bone but has been on his own for many years. I think the A means it is made from A2 carbon steel. The JB is the model name - Jungle Bowie. He makes a very nice high quality knife. I have several from him.
