Gorhka Khukuri Standards?

Namaste everyone!

What specifications do the Gorkha Regiments use in accepting or rejecting khukuris for their soldiers? I don't recall anything being mentioned on this subject.

Uncle Bill, if Pala is not too busy, could he answer this question?

Pala has not been a Gorkha for over 40 years. I don't think he could supply a current answer.

Our best man to answer this is John Powell. He has contacts at the Gurkha Museum in the UK who know all this stuff. John will be around to help us out.
