My coworker brought one from Katmandu.
It's 12" small model with rosewood handle.
Quite well made, good sheath too.
Any experience with this brand?

One of the more learned members will be here shortly BUT

Can you post any pics of it and the sheath?

btw..
Does it have an animals head on the butt of the Khuk??

What does the animal head on the butt mean? I have seen several on e-bay.

I think those are usually referred to as "tourist models" and are not serious workhorse's...Although I could be wrong

Get ready to have this thread moved.

Can we have a pic of this high quality piece, please?

LOL! And here Leatherface was trying to be so diplomatic about it. :D

Lenny, welcome, and please do post some pics if you can. And it may very well be a high quality khukuri. Even the tourist models are capable of some use, and yours could be a better example of that genre or even something completely different. The name unfortunately doesn't tell us much because so many folks are making them over in Nepal and India.

BTW, Lenny says it was bought in Nepal, so that kinda rules out the Lion's head pommel right? I thought those were strictly Indian.

Tourist crap, maybe. That's the reason I'm asking you…
Unfortunately, the khuk's owner is on his holidays, so no pics in nearest 2 weeks ((
