Gossman PSK, Cordage and Fire Covered!

looks like a cool setup there.

it looks like that PSK has more of a drop point than the spear point i normally see...maybe just the angles of the photos but i like it either way.

I had Scott make it a true spear point. It is just the angle of the camera.

Nice set-up Kev.

Those Sharpshooter/KnivesShipFree pocket sheaths are great; the variety of small fixed blades that can be carried in them is amazing.

Now about your new avatar, …I think you’ve been spending too much time with Brian.

Thats waay cool Kev. I like the method you used to cord wrap it. The whole package is neat.

Yeah, that’s the Brian that I know, …the voice of reason in the wilderness.

Mtn Folk,

When I asked Scott about it, I mentioned the design of yours.

Very nice. Scott's little PSK will run with the imagination as to how it might fit in the kit or, how it might be sheathed.

I have made several of these PSK sheaths (I have a huge order list for these once the leather shop is back open -- head injury), and the customers seem to like them real well since they can be worn on the belt, around the neck, or simply stashed with your kit. In the elk hide pocket on mine, I keep cordage, pure jute, ferro rod, Fox 40 Micro Whistle, Photon Micro Light, mini sharpener, a couple of hooks, and a sewing needle for repairs. I might even have a couple of greased cotton balls in there, too. A review of the sheath can be found here: http://outdoors-magazine.com/spip.php?page=print_article&id_article=331

I met Ted Nugent once (archery shoot); looks like he and Brian could be bro's. Sorry Brian, but the resemblance is uncanny. Maybe Ted was looking his best that day. :D

Wish I would have had my Fender Strat with me that day so Ted could have signed it. :(
