Hi all,

I just got a Gossman PSK from scott gossman.

I am seriously impressed! it's about 6 inches OAL and fits my hand like a freaking glove. It's sturdy and yet light enough to carry easily around my neck with barely noticing it.

if you are looking for a small knife to stuff in your cargo pants or around your neck, here's your chance!

here are some shots of my wife abusing the psk. He loved it....

Your wifes a HE ? Looks like a SHE to me bro !!!

Great little knife by the way !!!!

the HE referred to the knife. HE loved HER beating him up.....:)

(I actually thought about the pronoun use there but decided to leave it....)

I ordered one a few days ago, most likely in the batch Scott is working on right now. He is going to put together a post on how the PSK is built, from bar stock to finished product, very interesting stuff:cool:

I don't own one so I have to ask. What makes this particular design so special? I have heard a lot about them on the forums and this thread has finally brought me to this question. I do like the sheath in that link. Does the blade stay well secured in it?

it looks great, but if you can't afford it try out this $5 knife from smokymountainknifeworks. i just bought one and it is well worth the money

I posted building the PSK knife on my forum.
Morablades, to answer your question it is in the simplicity of the knife. There is enough width to have a firm grip. Simple and straight forward.

Yep it's the simplicity for me, and the sharpness, and the price, and the feel in hand,
can't miss.
It's my only real custom blade, actually.

Still need to get a Gossman PSK one of these days. Looks like it has big knife ability in a small package.

i love this thing...:D

I took my PSK hiking in NW oklahoma today and will have some cool pics to post in a few days. I barely noticed it was there but it was sturdy and versatile enogh to split some wood, slice my sandwich, and cut up on gouda cheese for the group.

I absolutely love this knife for so many reasons. That 5.00 knife might be cheaper, but I damn well guarantee you you get what you pay for.

MHO,

Brett
