Got $150-200 to spend on a folder...help me do it

I think that the two best options out there in the massive framelock folders catagory are the BM 630 and the Camillus Madd Max Bowie. Both have been mentioned already and both are great. I give the edge in usefulness to the Maxx. The blade shape just seems more versitale and useful to me. I own both and carry both. The quality for both is top notch on mine. I just find that the Maxx seems a little more useful in blade shape to me.
Both are dead solid knives that you can not go wrong with choosing either. :D
 
Decided to go with the Skirmish. Y'all were mighty persuasive...


So, instead of just a regular ole 630, I went with the Black blade, blue handle version. Got it yesterday, put some "skins" on it today.

Yes, by all means go with the Skirmish and then flick it open a few times and watch BenchMade void out your warranty. The CUDA MAXX is designed to be flicked open, that is how you are supposed to do it.

Very nice! I don't think there were many bad suggestions made and that particular one you found, especially with your leather work, is spectacular.

Use the snot out of it, void the warranty, my bet is on it serving you well over many good years.
