just wanted to give the community a heads up, I had recently purchased a blue FRN endura4 from amazon.ca granted it was marked as ''used, but in very good condition''. So I had inquired with their customer service to know what was the thing with it. They said, it was no return, but the box was damaged, so they placed it under their warehouse deals. Not caring about the box, I gladly bought it, as it was 20$ off. I was assured I could return it if I was not satisfied.
Now, right in hand, it felt different then my other enduras. So under careful inspection, I saw the grind lines on the bade were far rougher then should be and the letter stamping was off as the lettering was much thinner, but everything else was pretty much exactly the same. The frn scales where visually identical, but perhaps a tiny bit thicker. SRY I took no pictures before sending it back.
I think this kind of story is not unheard of. My take is that someone had bought one from amazon and returned a fake endura for a full refund. Amazon been none the wiser are passing the fake back. I at least made it clear why I was return it and hope to see they will not try to pass it off again.
