These are from the mid to late 90's. They made a tanto version (Komodo), and fixed blades based on it also. They were nice knives, AUS-8 blades.
After a little bit of research on this particular knife I think it's actually pretty rare. Or at least that's what 4 different websites said. There selling for more than what I paid for the box.
