in that foliage green with the D-2. My first to be exact. Already pleased with the construction, and of course I love what spyderco does with their G-10. The edge is just plain nasty looking. I was a little nervous because of the liner lock. Mostly because any locks that have failed on me have been liner locks so I just said screw it and put the trust in spyderco and this popular model. My question is just how tough is the liner lock on the military as far as liner locks go? I don't expect manix toughness that I also have, but stronger then other liner locks. In any case, I'm very pleased with this knife and now spydercos are all I have for folders.

It's pretty damn good as far as liner locks go.
Think it was 100-150 pounds on the tip to make it fail if I recall correctly(someone will say if I'm wrong, I'm sure:D).
No worries for any normal tasks, and it can handle SOME abuse.

The Military has the best engineered and executed liner lock I have ever seen, and I have seen more than a few.
