Got a new project...

Ha, giveaway? Probably not, but I'll bring her to the gathering for sure. Thanks for the compliments guys. I was really unsure of this one when we started.

Been looking at this thread for a while and this has turned out/turning out to be pretty damn sick! Nice work work.

Sorry guys, but if Murph gives this thing away in a contest I'll kill him myself! Worked on it again last night ,This thing should be done by the end of the week, And none to soon in my opinion. Its been fun but a challenge to say the least. Don't think I'll be tackleing any more of these in the near future knock on wood! Thanks for all the intrest!

Oh yeah, and I got started on the sheath last night too. Going for the old style ka-bar type look.

Awesome work man. I can tell the sheath is going to turn out as bad ass as the knife did.

"Well you can see the blade just savagely tore through the left ventricle of the heart, this guy would be pumping blood into his chest cavity and would basically drown in his own tears.".

You could always find some curly haired ginger to run computer programs to see how that would fare against a standard bayonet lol.

That looks GREAT!!! Brilliant idea and outstanding work guys! Can't wait to see the completed package!

ohmagawdohmagawdohmagawd!!!!!!

WANT!

murph....u gots to let me touch it at the Gathering.....we can go off in the dark, or in ur tent....but I got to play with your....BECKANET!!!

y'all have fun with that ^ I dont care...I said what I had to say LOL!

Y'all gonna blacken the handle pins? to keep it all ''tactical'' matte?

Yeah thrillbilly! The handles still need finishing touches, when its all done everything will get a final finish coat of bluing. The pin material is brass which I didn't want to use but for reasons I won't get into, had to. But I will antique them so as they won't be so obvious. Here's another sheath pic. Movin right along. Just some stichin and dye and its done. Won't be long we can put this on the done list!

Well, I don't know if anyone else thinks it's any good, but I like it. Any chance it'll be in a contest? :D

We definitely need a full combat test on this upon completion! Target shooting (good luck being accurate with that thing strapped on the front of your rifle haha) followed by close quarters combat (likely with a side of beef)!!

Ain't you got a day job slacker?

Thanks for the comment on the flowers sleepy b. I'm gonna make a boquet out of them to give to thrillbilly so he can give them to murph for all that pillow talk!

Welcome to the party murph! You must just be rollin out of bed!

that sheath looks good! Matched the knife style well, and I like how u swelled the belt loop to match the rear attachment on the handle so u dont have steel jobbing u in the side when u carry it. Very well done.... (for a pair of drunkards) LOL

Actually I got out of bed at around 10:30 today, thank you! TB I wouldn't consider us drunkards, just influenced by alcohol. Ok, maybe that's quite often though. Drunkards it is!
