Got a new Spyderco!

Hi All!
Got a new one. From my small but functional post someone suggested a Dragonfly (I think it was Jake) Anyway, I got it. I got the one with the Black FRN handle and a bit of a surprise. I thought that I got the one in AUS-8, but apparently the description was wrong, it's VG-10. I am super impressed with this. It was SHARP right out of the box. It's a little stiff but I can work on that. I can't wait to see how this baby performs. I already cut up a bunch of paper just to watch it. LOL. Anyway, I'd love to post some pictures, but I don't know how to do that as a registered user. I love it. Now my Tenacious has a friend. I've already got my eye on a couple more when I get my tax return. Oh, and my best friend saw the Dragonfly and loved it. She wants one. I'm gonna get the Ladybug Salt and I'm looking at maybe a Delica or Native or one of the Rescue Knives.
The only criticism I have of the Dragonfly is the clip. I don't really like that, but this thing is so compact that I can put it in my pocket with a little fob attached and wouldn't even have to clip it to my pocket. Anyway, I love it and just had to share.

I agree about the clip on the FRN D'fly. It's a little better with the SS version. Spyderco has the G10 D'fly that's coming soon. It will have a reversable wire clip. I look forward to trying out the G10 model. Congrats on your new D'fly!

Thanks! I almost got the SS version just because of the clip, but I really don't like the all steel handle. It was one of my biggest complaints with my chive. I like the textured grip. Maybe I'll wait on getting a new knife and wait for the newer Dragonfly. But, like I said this will probably not get clipped in my pocket...my Tenacious stays there. :p:)
 
If the FRN Dragonfly had a steel clip, that alone would be a huge improvement.
The SS model also weighs more than twice as much as the FRN one. That was why I sold mine.:)
 
yep it was me. I was trying to get the one from J. I think I'll be holding out for the G10 Dfly. Yours is cool tho. have fun with it.
