So I have been wanting to try one since I saw them on the CS website. I finally have one, and I really like it alot. I already have clip points and tantos, but this drop point will probably be my fave. It's a little beefier than the clip point, and definitely got a stronger tip. Quality seems to be the same as my pre GSM Voyagers. I'm happy with it and will have to get another I'm sure.

The tip on the drop point is probably not much weaker than the tanto. The tanto is still going to be overall stronger if you are destroying car doors or killing robots or whatever. I can see the drop point maybe being the best all round choice of my voyagers. The clip point being the best slicer and for finer work, the tanto being the strongest, and the drop point being the overall utility. It's tip is a tad bit beefier than the Recon 1 drop/spear point.

Stiff Clamp: thanks for your response. I'll probably eventually have all of them, and I had intended to pick up a tanto, but then the drop point came out... Good to know I can count on it against those pesky robots, too. (Damn robots....)

I only have the 4" Voyager with the clip point, AUS10. Great user knife. Carrying it today.

Received the 4" version today and it is an instant classic. Must have if you are a Demko/CS nerd like me. I took some pics but they turned out horrible, I'll try to post some better ones tomorrow.

The XL is on back order but I already know it's going to be unreal.
I have the XL and I love it. It’s surprisingly carry-able (if that’s a real word). Clipped in my pocket, the knife doesn’t look like it packs 5.5” of steel. It’s quite hefty though compared to, say, the Benchmade Bugout. 😅

The CS Voyager-series, rocks! An XL drop-point is on-the-horizon. My large, clip-point sees a lot of pocket-time:

I bought a large Voyager drop point about a week ago. It's great. Solid lock up, yet easily unlocked. Sharp out of the box, very sharp after a couple of passes on my field sharpener. A good buy.

You never know when a little robot killing will interrupt your agenda, so better to be prepared!

Just got my large spear Voyager a couple days ago.
It really is a great knife.

The paint on the clip is already coming off after just two days carry, no big deal but I wish they just left them plain steel.

I just received a large, drop point Voyager.
New item and it has the old cold steel logo.
New old stock?

I really love the look on this, particularly the XL. And I am not generally a fan of drop points. I am trying to resist buying one in the hope that they will eventually come down in price.

How do you guys like the Aus 10A? I've heard good reports thus far. Any issues with toughness/chippiness?
