Scales removed and put together , the knife is straight as an arrow , so I guess I got a warped scale ? image.jpg I'm not going through all the pain the ass of returning it , I'm gonna see if I can get some micarta scales and stainless screws instead.

I'll do a family photo when my 16 shows up . I've had a bad week , so I bought the boys at work a carton for after work beers. Let's go look at scales.............

This probably isn't anything you'd want to do But its an idea
A guy I knew when I lived in KY had a gap problem with his knife what he did to fix it cheap is
He put a layer of non-drying White Caulk tightened the scales cleaned off the excess and he had some pretty good looking white liners, Plus they could be scraped off Very easily. I wished I had a picture because it did look Good.
But You can't always go by me I Love Duct Tape J&B weld and super glue as repair alls.
Forgot to add if you rubberized or silicone it should help cut down vibrations when/if batoning

Loving the 7 and 11 , can't wait for my 16. The ten is still useable , but until I've got scales for it , it's just gonna sit in a draw .

Yeah the factory micarta scales you can get for them look pretty cool. I'm gonna have a go at cord wrapping mine in a minute

Definitely want to see the results and what you think. I will probably do one with mine in the interim until I can get the scales for it.
