Scales removed and put together , the knife is straight as an arrow , so I guess I got a warped scale ? I'm not going through all the pain the ass of returning it , I'm gonna see if I can get some micarta scales and stainless screws instead.
I'll do a family photo when my 16 shows up . I've had a bad week , so I bought the boys at work a carton for after work beers. Let's go look at scales.............
This probably isn't anything you'd want to do But its an idea
A guy I knew when I lived in KY had a gap problem with his knife what he did to fix it cheap is
He put a layer of non-drying White Caulk tightened the scales cleaned off the excess and he had some pretty good looking white liners, Plus they could be scraped off Very easily. I wished I had a picture because it did look Good.
But You can't always go by me I Love Duct Tape J&B weld and super glue as repair alls.
Forgot to add if you rubberized or silicone it should help cut down vibrations when/if batoning
