Got a Rat-3 from CKW that I didn't pay for

I'd ordered this knife but changed my mind about it. I'd already PayPal'd the funds so the owner refunded them and that, I thought, was that.

Yesterday, the knife shows up. I called the guy and sent an email asking for a call tag so I can return it but haven't heard a word back. Not sure what else to.
 
Did the funds end up back in your account? Maybe they never refunded so they ended up shipping it. Who knows. Getting in touch with them is the right thing to do though.
 
Yes, the funds were credited back the same day and no attempt has been made to reclaim them.
 
Definately call them and talk to someone!! Its the right thing to do.

A word of caution: dont take the RAT 3 out of the package and handle it, because if you do you WILL end up wanting to buy it!! They are great knives. I have a RAT4 that is great!!
 
I think the only solution is for you to send me the knife. I'll take care of things from there. You don't have to thank me.
 
Is that Chestnut Ridge knife works you ordered from?

I believe he is a member here. You can find posts by him on the Ratcutlery forum. He(Tom I think) is a nice guy, probably overlooked it. Your doing the right thing by trying to return it.

Looked at the knife, wasn't as impressed as others are.
 
Keep the knife - use it to threaten others and take their money.

That way you are taking free money and making more money with it.

Wait - is the a bail out we are talking about or a free knife? ;)

Sounds like you've done all you can, now it's time to wait. If they don't get in touch with you, and since you don't like the knife, I think the only fair thing to do is to have a contest with the knife as the prize.
 
Great Knife!!! I have one in 1095 and would not ever want to part with it. Give them a call and tell them what happend because thats the right thing to do but I would work it out to keep the knife. You will love it.
