I have used the Sharpmaker for over 25 years. It is easy if you follow the instructions. Here is a great 4-part Youtube video series about this great knife tool. Just remember the primary back bevel is at 30 degrees and the micro edge bevel is 40 degrees. You can easily change the angles by putting a shim under the end but that takes some shade tree engineering so I would suggest going with the instructions.
