Hey,

What do you like about the Vector/Equinox Hawks?

What features do you have?

And most importantly, show them off!

Give us some images please!

Best,
Marion

I've got a couple:

The black one is 24", the tiger stripe one is 28"

The black one, originally called the Black Mamba Stadia Hawk, has been renamed The Morrigan by me. I prefer the low profile hammer face on the back, as opposed to the longer poll of the BUG head that the tigerstripe uses. I like the sharpened beard of the BUG better, so I sharpened the beard of The Morrigan to about 1.25" from the edge, but haven't taken pics of it since.

I understand the undercut on the BUG head, but don't think it's necessary on a head as light as the Trail Hawk heads that these use.

I was going to lop off the hammer poll on the tiger stripe to make it like The Morrigan, but since it's on there, I have a modified version of this kind of spike in mind that I may try first:

I'm also interested.
What about the head? Who make it? wich steel is it? What about price?

i got this in a trade here on BF. it is an IGH or instant gratification hawk as Vec calls it. Just like Cpl's Morrigan except on a 19 1/2" haft.

I think it is worth noting that the head is cleverly hand fitted for bit alignment which alot of hawks don't. Vec puts in that little bit extra to make a good tool better.

I wish. I've been bugging Erica since December/January I believe to get some handles for my CCF heads. Soon I hope; soon...

A nice three footer.....Vec does great work !
Will have to take some better pics on of these days....
