Got an Emergency Pack ?

The EMR is so big though.. I have an MMR and I feel that it is too big for the car. I've been considering getting something smaller but my truck is so full of hunting gear this time of year that I don't have much room. Not to mention I still need room for the dogs and friends.

I've made a small belt pouch out of horse leather to put the emergency basics in:

swiss army (victorinox rangergrip 79)
lighter (zippo)
ferro rod
paracord
flashlight (thrunite tis) + spare battery
gerber shard multi purpose tool
bandana
overproof rum in a flask (fuel + emergency disinfectant)

Also AD or SOB on my hip.

I don't own a car but I will probably put it in my glove box or the tool section in the boot if I did.

Lmao
I was a little overzealous around 2012 regarding a SHTF situation. Bought the biggest and best pack on the market.
I'd never need all the room it offers, but it's better to have more room and not need it, than to not have enough room and wish you had more (just my way of thinking)

With some of the things that have gone down in this area of the east coast, I have what amounts to a GHB. It goes with me into the office. In it, I have everything I can think of that I would need if it came to needing to walk home, about 15 miles. Lights, gloves, large poncho, fire, usually food (currently out because I've used it all and haven't replenished it). It also has a personal med kit with the usual meds I will take for various reasons: painkillers, allergy medicines, band aids, ointments, etc. Also attached is a trauma kit I received from a trauma class I took, containing nitrile gloves, a couple different combat bandages with clotting agents, tourniquet, chest bandages (think sucking chest wounds), EMS shears, triage cards, a couple more goodies. It also contains two blades, currently both Busses. One is a blade that could be used to dig through the typical office wall, in case I need a field-expedient passageway. The other is something fast and pointy, and razor sharp, in case I get cornered. Those two duties are currently served by a BAe2, and an Axe Hammer.

I also have a workout bag that stays in the car, with my last ditch knife: BGHR. That pack is usually with me when the main bag isn't. I also keep several items in my car to use if the roads get bad. I've run across a couple of instances where I could have used things to get trees out of the road, or at least passable. Now I think I could do that. It would be hard a take a while, but doable in an emergency.

Depends on what the use for it is... when i was stationed in upstate NY, I had a pack with a sweater for both my wife and I, a blanket for the dogs and one for us tied up outside if, two MRE'S, Dog food, water in the cab, in addition to a standard trunk emergency kit.

In the truck, I keep a war dog in a sheath in my door pocket, 2-3 bottles of water, rope, bungee cords, basic tools, leather man, jacket, TP and some other basics.

I don't keep a Go-Bag, as i don't see the use in doing so. If I have to bug out, I'll pack it then- everything is where I know it should be and where I use them. Though my B11 sheath is tied on my assault pack already- but that's about all the prep done on that front.

Which one Praetor? The black pack is just a common cheap tactical bag, not particularly good it was just laying around so I made use of it. The little multi cam pouch attached is a condor pouch, an admin pouch if I remember correctly. A few pockets and a transparent map holder inside, useful for topographic maps and a pen and pencil, grease pencil too along with protractor. They are pretty common and inexpensive.
Many thanks sir
