Well, almost. ;) Should be here on Tuesday or Wednesday. Ordered a small. We'll see if it bumps my Kreined BG-42 small regular out of my pocket. Nothing else has been able to for the past 5 years.

I've always wondered if the classic handle would be "better", either more comfortable, more secure, or easier to open/close. I kind of have the feeling it'll be all of the above. Coupled with my love for wharncliffes, I'm super excited to get it in hand. I'll update with pics when I get it!

The small Insingo is my favorite knife and has been since I received it. You're in for a treat :D

. . . I've always wondered if the classic handle would be "better", either more comfortable, more secure, or easier to open/close.

I like my classics very much. I think they are a bit easier to open and close b/c I can get more purchase on the thumbstud and lockbar, respectively. As far as comfort in the hand, that's fairly subjective. The classic has a slightly concave spine, just enough to notice, which is nice. On the other hand, the regular (as you know) has a slighty convex spine, but it has the wave-like, rippled pattern on the underside edges of the handles, which add nicely to a good grip.

Bottom line -- I carry my classics (and my 21's) more often, but I enjoy the regulars too when I carry them. You will have to have them both in your hand to make your own determination. Let us know what you think. . . .

I picket up a Lg. Insigno because I didn't like the 21 blade shape as much as the Regular. Love the Insigno, this thing rocks. I especially love the swedge, wish that was an available option on more knives.

You're probably going to love it since you are partial to wharncliffes,

I carry mine every day.

It's on my short list also. Anyone know what enhancements will be offered when CRK starts selling them next year? I would like one with the micarta handle ;)

Chris D. :D

Today I've been moving furniture in preparation for a home remodel. Cutting carpet, cardboard boxes and tape. I just love that blade and the way it cuts. Very easy to reshapen, a couple swipes on the strop and back to new! I believe begining of 2011 CRK will be making the insingo available directly from them. I would love a large micarta! Perfect EDC. But I'm pefectly happy with the one I have. I kinda like the minimalist look.:cool::D

Congrats on the Insano!! They are fabulous. I agree with the things that have been said here and you will love that blade shape. Fantastic slicer.

Insingo came today!!!

I'll try and get some pics and thoughts up tomorrow. Wonderful knife!

Just ordered mine today as well. I'm curious as to whether yours says Idaho made on it or if knifearts stock is still 'naked'.

pepemrtnz,

Mine does not have the "Idaho Made" engraving.

Sorry for the delay in the photos! Turkey day and all that...

Anyways, please excuse my cell phone shots. This is my 4th Sebenza!
