Got any "Stackers" in here? i.e. Silver Hoarders...

So apparently pre 1967 Canadian quarters are 80% silver.

I need to go through that jar of coins my grandpa has.

Silver prices have been dropping. Currently at $19.55 from just over $21 a month ago.

Yeah, for the last couple years, it's been hovering right around $20-22. I remember trading off about 5oz. Ag back when it climbed out of the sub-$5 range up into the $12 range, and thought I made a killing on a trade for a used Spyderco Endura. :p

Same 5 coins could get me a used PM2 these days.

I've got about 10oz of silver and 2oz of gold stashed away.

How do you guys sell your precious metals? APMEX?

I go to a local coin/pawn shop. That's where I purchased my bullion.

I use to have about 70 various silver dollar that my grandfather had left to me. Well about three or four years ago someone decided to break in and took them and alot of uther stuff when me and my family went to church. About $1600 at minimum of silver was stolen along with other tech and gear. Dispite getting finger prints the local pd's robbery dept. sgt didn't want to persue the case. A few months later the same thieves came back. Took about $3000 with of tech and some of my knives and gear, same deal cops didn't persue. Don't want to go on a rant but if you live in the city I do, then you dont depend on 911; they dont show up if you call, only gamg stuff and weapons will make them come. After that loss of the silver our family hit rough economic time which it still is in and have barely anything in terms of silver coins collected. Thankfully my grandmother still has some silver dollar that my grandfather had owned. I still get bummed out knowing i dont have the coins that my grandfather wanted me to have. Recently i found a place at a local flea market that sells silver coins, when i get extra cash I know where i am goin to get silver coins due to them having reasonable prices.

I have a single silver dollar my father gave me as a keepsake ages ago. It is an interesting exercise to follow the variation in the value of that dollar as time goes by.

I have about 8 Morgans that I purchased for about $15. each. Where and how cheap can you buy non-descript ones?
