I was with you guys in spirit! I was drinking some german lager (and don't tell Jerry, but I was drinking Guiness, too), and talking about all the times we should have died doing stupid stuff in our youth (like throwing bottles of shotgun powder into a fire to see who ran away first)...
You mean stupid like playing with my dads buck 110 and cutting my thumb open like thanksgiving turkey and trying to tell my dad it was a paper cut?.....I don't think he bought it....
Yeah, I don't think kids do stupid stuff like we did any more. I mean, they are definitely stupid but I think that with all the protections and safety consciousness out there, I don't think that they have access to the kinds of crazy stuff we did. Not only that, I tend to think that to be as stupid as I was, you have to be a lot more creative than I give most kids today credit for.
Have to agree 100%. I remember taking all the flammables in my new chemistry set, mixing them together, then lighting it aflame just as it bubbled over onto my parents picnic table... Burned a hole through it before I could stop it. 'Course, I had access to some stuff back then that's a lot harder to come by nowadays... Too many wannabe terrorists...
