Got Daggers?............

:eek::eek: Daggers are amongst my favorites and this thread has more than I have ever seen posted.

Marcel, if those are all in your collection...that is one impressive collection to say the very least.

I need to go back for another viewing!

Thanks,
Peter

Oh lordy !:eek::eek: - Please send me a picture of that when it is finished! Whilst the European Sphincter Laws would prohibit import and ownership - that looks like something moving to the USA for!

WOW...that is incredible Bruce. Hope to see more pictures through completion.

I recall a previous set you made including a knife gun that was absolutely amazing.

Thanks for the pleasure of seeing this one.

Not sure if you missed the link in post #15, but in the interests of instant gratification, here's a few more.

This one is listed as 16th century:

Note how the quillions actually curve in 3 dimensions on many of these:

I only got about halfway through their album to find these.

I think I'll add one more of those from MyArmory so you can see the hilt better. This way you can see that the fluted spirals and wire on the grip are done much differently than seems to be the common practice now. The entire grip is encased in twisted wire, with more wire overlayed in the flutes. Come to think of it, I don't think I can remember ever seeing an antique made with the modern style flutes & wire. Does anyone have a picture of one?

I asked Ray if I could add his dagger to this most awesome thread.
