I think you only have to order a minimum of $10.00 for them to ship. You can order fasteners in quantities starting at 1 if you like but your total order needs to be over $10.00.
 
Survivor newb nere, so this might be a stupid question.

Are the scales that are for the 5, the same size as the scales for 5.1?

Will OBX's 5 scales fit my 5.1?
 
Excellent! I finally acquired a 5.1 and really like it. It has orange and black G10 scales which look great, but they are kinda "slippery" when my hands are dry. It seems like the canvas would provide better grip for me.

Not stupid at all.

As long as we're talking old spec knives then the 5, 5.1, 6 and 7/7 are all interchangeable as that handle type is universally "mid size".

New spec knives are all tweaked specifically for each model, so they are not interchangeable.

Somebody here might be willing to trade you. Canvas micarta scales are both popular and readily available with some searching.

Yes, make sure they are the same generation of knives. The new spec 5.1's handles will not fit the pre-2016 5.0, and vice versa. If you have any question about which generation of knife you own, just post a pic. We can help.

I lied to you! GSO 5 handles will not fit because that is a new spec 5.1. That is the bad news......... the good news is you have a very sought after knife! Not just new spec, but also 3v. Awesome!!! New handles are definitely available on the site if you need a change.

If you have only a basic membership as a "registered user", you may post ISO (In Search Of), WTB (Want to Buy), or WTTF (Want to Trade For) only. You may not list supplies for sale.

Note: If you are a vendor, please do not post here. The purpose of this thread is to facilitate the exchange of Survive! supplies, such as scales/fasteners/factory sheaths, that are not being used.

Forte, just so there is no confusion, and since there is a paid membership level of Basic Member available on this site, let's clarify this. I'm thinking you meant 'Registered User' in place of 'basic membership,' is that correct?
