• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

I made it back from the Arkansas show just in time.............a severe winter storm and blizzard struck here in the early hours of this morning. Pictures attached. We are told to expect drifts of up to one half inch and even possible accumulations of up to one half inch also and it is expected to last until at least mid day.

I hope you have prepared in advance for such a disaster.
It looks like it may be days before you'll be out and about again.

Damn, Paul.....you guys have really been hammered this winter. :D

Sure am glad that you made it safely and all is well....

Your a funny man Paul. I sure hope you will be able to get to the shop to work. See you at blade.

It was good to see you at the show Paul. Glad you made it home safely. Charlie and I headed back to the "Boro" after the show and ran our windshield wipers all the way to the GA line. Was not a fun drive.

The Little Rock Show is always a lot of fun and we had a good time. We met some great people as well as makers. The Arkansas Assoc. puts on a good show and the location can't be beat. Charlie and I look forward to the next one.

Hope you guys manage to dig out from under all of that okay. If you need some extra teaspoons, just holler. :)

Roger

That upper strand of barb-wire must have slipped out the staple. Better get on it Paul, you don't know what might be on it's way south next.

Don't forget to put your snowboots on, when you get out to shovel for a day or two:D

You better keep an eye out for avalanche conditions if you drive out into that hilly country to your west.;)

We seem to have gotten the northern end of the same blizzard. It was hard trudging out the shop through that heavy dusting of snow. This weather is killing us!

Glad to hear Paul.
I was certainly worried about you. ;) :D

Really appreciated your help at the CKCA booth over the weekend.

I got the plow on and I am coming pappy HOLD ON!!!

We are expecting 10 inches more on thursday here in Pa

Snow, rain and sleet is the one thing I hate about the AKA yearly show. I can often drive there, but many times the weather precludes it. Last year they held it too close to Valentine's day. Sure wish they'd move the show out of February. They'd get a lot more people north of AR to show up.

If I send knives, will you be able to make it to the mailbox?
Or will they deliver right to your door when the snow is that heavy?

By the way, that IS a lot of snow by South Florida standards.

I hope this doesn't mean that we are getting more cold weather. It finally got back up to the normal low to mid 70's here in the last couple of days. This winter has sucked here. My electric bill is up about 50% over the last two months.

PK, glad you made it home safe. Stock up on eggs, bread and milk. Looks like your in for the long haul;):D:thumbup:

Paul,

I talked to Harvey today. He said it was full on blizzard. Deborah got the day off. 3 inches of snow! Funny thing is, here in Montana its sunny, no snow, and my kids were playing in the sun and grass in the yard today in t shirts! Enjoy winter down there in Texas!!
