out of all tese only 2 are laser etched. The others you cannot feel. Not that it matters, but that I would add that

For a collector blade I would not put anything on the handles as it might alter the natural color permanently. Micarta doesn't need any protection anyway. As for the metal, try RUSTHUNTER (with VPI). Won't discolor, be oily and will never rust. Also kinda smells like maple syrup!
 
Bro those knives are flippin beautiful. I was under the impression that Mag handles were only offered in Tiger Stripe, Black Canvas, & Desert Tan. Perhaps the LE had an offering for the Snake Skin, but again I thought the LEs all came with Tiger Stripe. Hmmmm...you may have a rare one there bro.

The Limited Edition HOFSH will be serial numbered (Serial numbers are assigned in the order in which the orders are received). This is the only time the Limited Edition HOFSH will be offered. It will not be offered again.

The one you got with the Snake Skin may have come directly from Jerry's main site and was specialed ordered with the Mag Snakeskin handles. I checked my archives for handle options from the main site and Fusion Mag handles were only offered in the 3 styles, Tiger Stripe, Black & Snake Skin. You might want to put the Snake Skin one in the safe and use the other, wow you actually have to make a choice here! :eek:
 
snakeskin wasn't so rare, I think. Mine are both that. See them next to the tiger stripped ones

Are you sure these are both Magnum? I have been looking at the pics over and over and the Magnum handles on my HOFSH have thicker swells on them than these. Can you get a pic straight on like the one I have here?

I also asked about getting the Mags in SS back when they were ordering and was told "No", they were not making the SS in Mags, only standard.

The LE's are both Magnums as seen below. I'll tell you I prefer the non magnums

Both the Tiger and the Snake HOFSH LE's are mag handles.
I am sorry that I got a Snake skin mag handle HOFSH LE:D :D But I do.:grumpy:

Here is anotherone with a special project Cold steel Trailmaster in stainless steel. Not the San Mai version. This blade was the same that was used to make the Trailmaster Intruder version but just satin finished instead of coated.

These HOFSH LE's sure makes the Trailmaster look skinny:D
