Got IRONWOOD?

Well I am smack in the heart of ironwood country and if it was ironwood and totally free of cracks (all usable), it would still not be worth that much. I did see an ebay sale awhile ago for about a cord of ironwood go for $1000.00, but who'd a thunk it.

I dropped him a question, questioning the idea that it is ironwood, I'll let you know if I hear from him...

It could be Locust, alot of folks in New England call it Ironwood. It is a very hard wood with an interesting texture but this guy is smoking crack if he thinks he's getting $20,000 for that log.
