I have been looking for one of these for a little while. I am impressed with how much gear it will hold. Now I just have to find the internal frame insert for it.

wow..very nice pack. it does look like it will hold a TON of gear. you could survive in the woods for a good while having that bad boy stocked up. I heard Becker designed some other gear besides knives etc. I didn't know about this though. very cool thanks for sharing.

FYI on the internal frame... tear down one of those political signs on the corner in your city. They are usually corrugated plastic and make for perfect frame inserts. Someone shared this secret on a different forum a few years ago and i've used this method for 3 packs now. It works perfect, no complaints at all. Just cut to fit, you can even double it up if you prefer.

I think it depends some on the color. OD seems to be harder to find, and thus a little more expensive. I saw a small black one recently for around $115 - 125. I haven't even seen an OD one anywhere for sale. IAWoodsman had a good find with that one! From what I've seen, I think you could reasonable expect to find one on the secondhand market for somewhere from $120 - 160. There are some seriously overpriced ones on flea bay.

Thanks for letting me know. I see an OD one that looks decent but used for $115 and a tiger stripe one that looks like it's in good shape for $315! So I was curious. I'm not getting either at this time. They are both on ebay now, in case anyone is interested.

never was in no hurry, lots of packs, not enough camping time (or motivation lately)
