That coating is wild... I don't think I could bring myself to use that one. I wouldn't even put it in a sheat for fear or scuffing that neat finish. Really cool man.

yeah, either looks like a rat daddy or a magnum eu-17. i finished up RE5 last week. still trying to beat all of the mercenaries with an A or better though. it's pretty decent, and better than 4, but i prefer the older ones, when it was a survival horror game, not action

YAY!!!! Today I received my (New To Me) NMFBM from member Safetyman. All I can say is WOW what a blade. I cannot wait to beat it up really good. I'll try to get a pic up as soon as I can. One quick question... are there any difrerences in the specs on the NMFBM and NMFBMLE? Is one maybe thicker? I know the finish is different. Just wondering about specs wise.

There is some thickness variation. I've heard of around .28" thick LE NMFBMs, and my own NMFBM CG version is around .22" thick if I remember correctly (or perhaps it was .23" ) So there is definitely variation: some are nearing the FFBM thicknesses, and some are approaching "skinny", and are more machete-like. The thickness obviously affects the weight too, and one of the thinner CG NMFBMs is actually pretty quick in hand, in spite of the length. The NMFBM is a great knife. Quite possible the ultimate Battle Mistress model. I only regret that I own only one!
