Got me an anvil

Well I got me a deal on an anvil. It's in good shape looks to be hardly used at all. Weighed in at 108lbs, has a nice ring to it, and is not cast. I also picked up about 100 lbs of 5160 at the same time so I go plenty of steel to learn with. The steel is mostly 1/4 inch stuff in different widths, 1 1/2 to 5 inches in 7 ft. lengths.
Any tips would be appreciated!!!!!!

well first thing is SHOW SOME PICs hehe

get a good stump for it of a soft wood like pine or something like it.
and get it set in a good hight and better to make it too hight to start with so you can get sure on how high you want it to be you can always saw of a slice from the bottom later on to get it to the right hight.

and well yeah just bash away on the steel and you'll soon get a "feel" for it
