This thread got me thinking too. I already spend enough time with my wife. Generally speaking, we if we aren't at work, we are together either at home or somewhere else.
I carried this Tuna Valley Cattleman once or twice when I first got it but I put it back in the display case because I decided not to get it all buggered up. My wife bought it for me at a knife show about 4 years ago. It has a little story behind it that my wife and I still laugh about when the topic comes up:
At the knife show my wife, Jeff @black mamba , and I were standing in front of the booth that Ryan and Cortney Daniels had set up for Tuna Valley knives. Renee was on my left and Jeff was on my right. Jeff and I got deeply involved in a conversation about knives and while we were doing that, Renee bought this knife for me. I didn't see her buy it and neither did Jeff despite the fact that she was literally standing right next to me. She gave it to me after we made the 100 mile trip back home and I had no idea that she bought it until then.
I like the knife very much. Always have. I already know that I'll never sell the knife so the monetary value will never benefit me personally. I'm going to sleep on it but I'm pretty sure I'm going to add this knife to my EDC rotation in the morning. Maybe I shouldn't have waited so long.
