Got my 0560 this morning, and I'm still smiling this afternoon

Being the way I am with my knives, I took the 0560 apart last night....cleaned, lubed it up, and put it back together with no problems whatsoever.

Is it any smoother now that you took it apart and cleaned it? Mines smooth as glass, which is why I'm hesitant to take it apart lol.

Mine was excellent at first, as well, but I took it apart and wiped that light coat of grease off anyway. I used some CRK grease, although I may switch over to Miltec later, and the pivot is pretty much just as smooth as it was. I say pretty much since I didn't put as much grease on there as what there was before.....but it is smooth enough for me. I prefer it this way so the blade doesn't have too much play between the locked and closed positions. I made sure to put the KVT washers back in the same way/position that I had taken them out. Everything went back together with no problem.....zero blade play and solid lockup.
