She's a smidgeon tighter than my 0560 feels but she is brand new and she works and looks perfect! She even smells good! I almost thought I caught a whiff of a beautiful woman when I opened the box :D I couldn't be happier. She is everything I expected. ZT and KAI in general is on fire these days. 2011/2012 have been super good years from this knife MFG as far as I'm concerned and they probably stuck a fork in a lot of other knives that cost more but don't perform as well.

I noticed the second biggest difference between the 0560 and 0561 immediately too . . .

Thanks for the pictures! Very artistic actually, the Gmascus iron pitting and then the coyote brown echoed in the rust! Good to see another Hogue lover. If I didn't have the 0560 I think I'd carry mine more buy rotate the 0300 sometimes probably. I just wish they made the auto in a stonewash. I like the stonewash on the Hogues and wish the 0560 was a bit more textured but maybe the Elmax just doesn't tumble the same regardelss of time or media used. It also shows off nicely.. KAI blades can start to look like a billboard :) I kid!
 
I also "think" ZT blasts the blade before the SW where it doesn't look like that is the case with the Hogue.
 
Great pics Alpha & Reeek, that's interesting that they changed the finish on the 561. Can't wait till mine lands....just a few more days.

As far as I'm concerned, ZT hit a homer with the 0551/0550 and of all things, they bested that with the 0560/0561 - that wasn't easy to do. Like two superbowls back to back.

The brown looks real good. After all these pics, vids and reviews I need to have one of these bad boys. Wonder what number I'll be if I email Kershaw Guy =p Just a little late to the 0560/61 party.
But I'll be first up for the 0777 :)
 
Just got my 0560 from David. It is PERFECT, the same as my other one. Blade is centered, the lock up is about 45%, and it flips easily, but not TOO easily and has good blade retention. Another winner from KAI, and one heck of a great value.
