I'm as happy as a pig in muck. I ordered it from Bayou LaFourche ($110) last week, and here it is. It's the first one I've even seen in real life, so I was surprised by the lightness of it (it feels roughly the same size & weight as my CCC), but boy does it move!

Now of course, I'm going to have to save for another one!

I was also really happy (what's "muck" ? like mud ?) when I got my BM42.
I see you live in the UK. London ?
How are balisong there ?
Are they free to buy ? to own ? to carry ?
Are they popular ?
Do you know English balisong brands/knifemakers ?

OK OK I stop the questions

"Muck" is a polite way of saying what pigs like be in.

No, I don't live in London. I hear from Clay that the UK bali scene is pretty happening, but I only perosnally know of 1 other guy who's into Balis. I think buying them is illegal, importing them is prohibitied, and carrying virtually any edged, or pointed implement over here is a no-no. As for owning them, I'm not certain. I can't find any mention of them in the laws relating to knives, unless of course they're classed as gravity knives here. The only English balisong I've heard of was on this board, and it was made in Sheffield. Sorry I can't be of more help.

They're awesome aren't they? I've gotten two in the past two months myself. Now all you need to do is buy an X Concealex sheath and you should be good to go.
