I got BG 42 blade. Indigo scales. Fingergrooves. Nickel bolsters. No serations.(I hate those). Knife came about two months after ordering. Workmanship is awesome. I'm a picky knife guy and everything is perfect on this knife. Kudos to the Buck custom shop and you won't be dissapointed dealing with them. I know I wasn't.

Can't brag if you don't post pics. :)

I too want a Custom 110. Buffalo or Stag, with finger grooves.

Congratulations!

I have a pair due in from them - hopefully in a few weeks. I am more anxious waiting for the new Kalinga Pro S30V knife. Naw, it's a toss-up! Heck, even my el-cheapo closeout collector's tin 110's are definite keepers.

Congratulations! I've got a Indigo, BG-42 with finger grooves too. They are great! I'm sure it will be a favorite of yours.

I also ordered the Cabelas S30V, but when closing the blade will bounce back out of the scales and leave the point exposed...waiting to cut me. I guess I need to send it back to Cabelas or to Buck, but I hate paying $10 or more shipping to have a new knife fixed. Other than that, the Cabelas knife is great too.

Again, congratulations on your Indigo 110.

Ya know PB...I have the same prob with a knife that came back from Buck. Annoys me, but I figured I wasn't gonna send it back for a two month rework just for that.

AND, I too would like to see the pic of that indigo!!! :)

Congrats on your new Custom Shoppe 110, bilrus! I know they are addictive as heck and possibly the best value in a custom knife out there. There is just something about that solid, precise build and the beautiful finish that just keeps me coming back. Enjoy.

P.S. - We love pictures! ;)

Just out of curiosity, how does Buck ship a custom 110 - USPS or UPS/FEDEX? No, I am not anxiously awaiting my pair... they originally said Sept 24th... I wonder how close their 'projections' are?

If you still need someone to post your pictures, e-mail them to me (See public profile by clicking my name at the heading of my reply.).

Mornin' Stainz-
Typically Buck sends our loot UPS but often times you can specify USPS. I presume they would use FedEx if you needed that too? I figure about a half and half split between the first two carriers as far as I receive the goods from Buck Inc.
The Custom 110s at present are taking 9-10 weeks to get your paws on one. Not at all bad for what you can get, for the time...and the money, huh?

Well, a call from Pete at Buck informed me today that my pair are to be shipped today... the wait is nearly over... Naw, I am not impatient!

How does the custome shop process work? I checked out the order page and found some very intriguing ideas for a truly custom 110. Is the price on the order sheet the total or is there other factors involved. Thanks in advance for any info/advice.

After you click 'Build It', you will see a page that shows the specs on what you ordered and the next page (as I recall) shows the final charges (tax or shipping if applicable). Being Canadian, I pay GST and FedEx Bonded.
